My old roller hockey coach Chris asked if I could put together team logo for the Sharks. He wanted something cool to use in this years trophies and maybe make up some jerseys at a later date.

The trophy emblems were limited to three colours, gold, blue and white (to match the general club trophies), but other than that I just had to come up with something cool, preferably with some hockey sticks thrown in.

Kicked things off with a bunch of sketches (yes, I scribble down everything, even if I don’t think it’ll go anywhere), realised I couldn’t draw sharks 😉 but persevered, picking out what I thought would be best to develop further…

Everyone liked the stylised angry shark best, so that turned into these…

Which ended up being this…

Supplied in flat EPS format to be made into emblems and then put into all of these…

Congratulations to all the players who picked up a trophy! Should be good fun if I end up doing jersey designs later in the year.
