So this weekend I stripped most of the interior out of the A4. Here’s how that looked…

Not bad going for the first day. Really couldn’t believe how heavy the seats were, you must save a ton a weight switching to race seats but unfortunately that’s not on the agenda this time.

He who labels, wins! I’ve got a pretty good memory when it comes to this sort of stuff but it couldn’t hurt to label up the cables, just in case.

I’m waiting to get a quote back from a retrimmer for the headliner, pillars, dash and centre console. Hopefully I can get the parts over to him and back in the car in the next few weeks.

The door cards will need to come out eventually too, as far as I can tell the only way to remove the exterior chrome from the doors is to remove the entire window frame. Not a job I’m looking forward to, so that can wait for now.
